Road Trip - Day 4

Not too much to report today. We left New Orleans this morning at about 8:30 and arrived in San Antonio about 7:30 p.m. We are officially half way to Simi, having driven 1,400 miles so far. The drive was really very uneventful, so we returned to our earlier pastime of counting dead armadillos... Today's count: 18. (Along with 2 gators and 8 turtles - although we think some of the turtles were just taking in the air.) Tomorrow we'll be taking the Riverwalk tour and visiting the Alamo before heading on to Fort Stockton.
